As I type this post the first team of about 10 people is on a plane headed to Dulles Airport to catch the flight that will ultimately bring them to Rwanda. I am so excited for them and while their departure makes me wish it were me leaving this weekend…I am actually really excited to be part of the second team that will be going. This first group will go and begin a work and plant the seeds that we will have to opportunity to water and nurture and maybe even reap a harvest! It’s just so exciting to think that I get to be a part of God’s plan in bringing hope and His love to a group of people that He has chosen ahead of time. So cool! I have their schedule for the week so that I can pray for them and the work they are doing there I will share it here because the more people praying…the better! Our schedule will likely look the same, but that has not been confirmed. I will post our schedule when we get it.

Saturday Feb 6th
Arrive at 1:15 pm on Ethiopian Flight Airline
Afternoon meal and rest 2:00-4:00
Outreach: depart @ 4pm and come back home @ 9pm
Details: speaker needed for sermon and testimonies from 5-6pm, Movie @ 6pm, someone needed to invite people to Christ after movie

Sunday Feb 7 th
AM: Foursquare church in morning 10:00am
Preaching: Someone needed to preach
PM: Dinner our house
African dinner and dance 3pm to 6pm

Monday Feb 8 th
AM: Visit Kimironko market 9am and, Visit Mama Clementine & Family
Lunch at Smyths @ 11:30-12:00
12-2:30pm: Genocide memorial
3:30pm Visit Genocide Orphans

Tuesday Feb 9th
11am to 2pm: Hospital ministry: need someone to preach @ Hospital @ 12 noon
2pm: Lunch at Africabite
3-5pm: Shopping at blue craft buildings
6pm Pastor Peace Church-Someone need to preach
